What is Counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy which involves:-

Counselling typically involves change:-
  • Change in the way you see yourself
  • Change in the way you think about things
  • Change in the way you feel about yourself


Your counsellor will offer you a warm and empathic healing environment; each session will be quality time for you to talk through your problems and anxieties in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental setting that will be uniquely tailored to you.  This type of counselling is known as Person-Centred counselling and was found to be the most effective form of therapy, with noted improvements of over 90% compared to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT = 70%).
